All posts for the month November, 2013

Another great skate last night boys, nice job.  Kudo’s to #24 for the back to back performances thus far in the month of November.  Who would’ve thought you can go from zero miles per hour on the couch, to 110mph on the ice.  And that’s without a few weeks to get tuned up.  Goes to prove, he’s just a specimen.   Speaking of getting tuned up, nice work at the clubhouse as well.  Sorry I had to bolt early.  (Is Midnight early?)

Props go out to our goalies from last night as well.   Stone Wall shut down Dr. Dicenzo in the first ever PENALTY SHOT awarded in the history of the HBHL.    And to new comer Mad Mike Lucciano.  Nice work last night, Kid.

It looks like it’s going to be a great weekend, so get outside and have some fun.

Mountain biking perhaps?  (Sick riding, 30sec into vid)

Or maybe take to the pavement on two wheels?  Buckle up.

Whatever you decide on, be safe.

And stay Thirsty.

Chicago’s O’Hare Int’l Airport really is a lovely place.  I mean, you show up and pretty much have the place to yourself.  No lines at security, plenty of places to sit while you wait for your empty plane… It’s unbelievable.  Of course, it doesn’t hurt if you’re traveling with your new boss, or if the flight you’re booked on isn’t leaving until 3hrs from when you arrive.  It’s the little perks that really add up and make things worthwhile, ya know?

So, I’m missing another week of hockey with the Badgers.   Not cool, but what can you do.   If #24 shows up, I’ll be even more bummed.   If he does show, someone take a picture and send it to me.  I’ll have to put it up on the site.   People will never believe it otherwise.  It’s gotten to the point that it’s kind of like a bigfoot sighting. (Bigfoot once took a picture of him)

But on the plus side, I heard there’s a celebrity pilot flying us back to Boston tonight.  Check it out.
